So many office workers talking about starcraft 2. Makes me wonder if its worthwhile to get or not. I don’t have time for something as involved as this. What do u think?

So I decide on picking up a copy of The Sims 3 on my way home from work because… I am a huge fan and I currently have extra time to kill.
I start the installation, OK, going, going, going… DONE! It’s quick and painless. So far so good.
I start the game up, and create my characters. I decide on creating just one guy to test things out. So I go ahead and accessorize him and get some cool clothes n such. It was amusing. After pimping him out, I start the game and buy a house. Once I move into the house, here’s where the game freaks out:
As you can see, the textures get all jacked up and it essentially looks like a broken laptop screen. I just think to myself… Is there a fix?
So I go ahead and update my graphics drivers, do all of my windows updates, etc. and still the same results. I even lower the graphics to the LOWEST settings with the same results.
How can this be? I don’t have the crappiest gaming system and I can play every other game at the highest resolution with no problems. Far Cry 2 and Crysis work without any problems for me. again, how can this be?
So… I sent in an e-mail to EA’s technical support along with my DXDiag reports and my screenshot. I really hope they fix this.
