We are riddled with bad drivers. Yes drivers who change lanes without looking. Drivers who cross single and double solid lines. Drivers who tail you because you’re going the speed limit. You never know these days either. There’s always a chance that someone will pull out a knife or gun as well. What is this state coming to.

The weather this weekend wasn’t good at all. Rain, rain, rain… its a good thing it wasn’t too bad. We were able to sneak a few geocaches in. Personally, I don’t care too much for bad weather. Bad weather usually means I can’t ride. Do you like rain?
I’ve been at my desk waiting for this stupid linux os to upgrade itself. At the same time I’m sending e-mails to people who I need to follow up with as well as putting together a plan for next week. I really want to plan well so I can skate on by.
So now, I’m almost done with all that… and I think it’s break time. While I drink my red bull and eat my peanut M&M’s I’m taking a moment to type this out and clear my head. Because… Well.. there are always things on my mind. I think I might hit the gym tonight, but I’m not too sure. I want to go out for a quick spin tonight… but oh the rain… I don’t want to get wet…. ACK! so much for clearing my head!
So how do you clear your head?
Gym time, and I just got my ass kicked. It’s been a while. training for the great aloha run, then I got really sick. Not fun!
Anyways, I’ve got some new videos to post and I need to find out where I put my camera.
Ok, so it’s been a WHILE since I’ve posted…
so here’s what’s been going on…
1. Busy – I’ve been working my ass off trying to get my scorp off the ground. from dealing with tax forms, to putting myself on my own payroll, it’s been quite an adventure. now all I need to worry about are TAXES!
2. Moved… Yes, I moved. I now reside… on the other side of kailua. lolz… but you know… I love kailua
3. Other/Misc – almost every weekend, there’s something to do and I’m dying to catch my breath.
the good thing is that there’s always time for family and friends tho.
Other than that, I’ve still been working on my motorcycle and riding. I need to post more youtube videos tho.
the only thing that I haven’t been doing is the gym. The last 3 weeks have been a total slack off in that department. However, I have been running! check out EnricoEric’s RunKeeper – Kicking His Own Ass
anyways… thanks for letting me steal 3 minutes of your life!
Recently I’ve noticed a lot of bad drivers. Drivers who like to tail you, drivers who nearly side swipe you… and then when you honk your horn to let them know they’re gonna hit you, they wave their fists at you and give you the *LOOK*
Yea, maybe it’s because I’ve been spending more time on the road, but still… geesh!
Hawaii License Plates:
PRP693 – Bad Driver #1 Doesn’t look when changing lanes
KTP653 – this guy likes to tail people
And… here we go again. What should have been an average drive into town turned into a slow crawl as I headed over the Pali Highway this morning. I thought it was just normal traffic since school started, but it turned out to be worse! After rolling in traffic for more than one hour, with other people getting frustrated and angry, driving aggressively only to only gain mere feet… It turns out that much of the traffic was attributed to sign wavers.
This entire stretch of highway was crawling!

The cars were piled up in front of me!

And behind me!
After sitting in traffic for about an hour, watching people make illegal lane changes, I noticed something interesting… Just before the freeway on-ramp here’s what I saw:
And yes, here we go Tulsi Gabbard Tamayo was waving her signs and causing a slow down just before the freeway on-ramp.
Once I passed her sign waving, the on-ramp opened up to a free flowing open freeway.
I was 15 minutes late for work today. I wonder how many other people were late to work today? If there were a way to figure out how much her sign waving costed hawaii residents, i would probably guess it would be something similar to this:
[ For Shits and Giggles ]
In 2000, the US Census Bureau estimated that the county of Kailua has an estimated population of 36,513 people (which we’ll round to 36,000) and an average of 2.98(3.0) people per household. For example purposes, lets just say that there is one driver per household. This would bring us to 12,000 drivers in the Kailua area. Now, lets also say that 2,000 of those drivers do not need to go to honolulu for work. This bring us down to 10,000 drivers. Of course not taking into account what time we all left our residences as well as many other factors:
If 10,000 drivers all went over the pali this morning and were caught in traffic and each of us ended up being 15 minutes late:
10,000 x 15 min = 150,000 minutes = 2500 hours
Now if we all made minimum wage @ 7.25 per hour
2500 x $7.25 = $18,125
So in this example, kailua residents would have lost $18,125 out of their pockets because of the increased traffic caused by sign wavers. I’m probably wrong, but you get the picture right? Think about it!
Sign wavers should not be waving their signs during the morning and afternoon rush hours. Maybe they should be fined? Who knows…
So many office workers talking about starcraft 2. Makes me wonder if its worthwhile to get or not. I don’t have time for something as involved as this. What do u think?

I remember these things! I think in elementary school they used to have troffs with running water that everyone would pee into. Ahhhh the good old days.
Ride out to Kapolei… It was HOT! Motors were HOT! Everything was HOT!
Fun Ride Tho!
